Aim of the project

Infrastructure project "Highway "Hemus", section "SRR – Yana road junction" is a part of the Trans-European Transport Corridor IV. The construction of the new section of 8.46 km length will connect the existing section of the highway "Hemus" with the Sofia Ring Road. The realization of the project will significantly contribute towards reducing traffic and increasing traffic flow capacity on Road E-79. An important goal of the project is to improve the environmental situation in the area and improving the safety of travel.
